We are 3 business partners, Salvo, Angelo and Domenico. Our story began back in Italy where we met at high school and became good friends ever since. We then came to Cardiff to learn English and 9 years later… Calabrisella came to life! All our staff is from Italy, with great experience within the catering industry. When you walk inside our restaurants, we want you to feel like you are in Italy.

Founder and Head Chef
Domenico is Calabrisella's Chef and restaurant owner and was born in Reggio Calabria. He studies catering in italy and is a fully qualified Chef. His years of his experience gained from working all over Italy have made him a very knowledgeable and diverse Chef
Founder and Manager
Salvatore is Calabrisella's manager and owner. He was born in Reggio Calabria and attended Catering school there. After gaining a multitude of Italian experience he took the decision to come to Cardiff 13 years ago. He started work as waiter and two years later was already a manager.

Angelo is one of calabrisella's managers and owners, he was born in reggio calabria and came to cardiff in 2004 and started working in the restaurant. He has also been to catering school and became a restaurant manager after a couple years.
Chef
Giovanni was born in Sardinia where he matured his passion for cooking. He arrived in Cardiff in 2015 and immediately exhibited his great passion and quality and soon became Head Chef.
Pizza Specialist
Luigi is our main pizza maker with more than 15 years of experience. He was Born in Sardigna and went to catering school there and ran his Pizzeria with his family there before coming to Cardiff. Luigi is the fastest pizza maker I've ever seen and also makes the best pizza.
Deputy Pizza Maker
Giovanni is our Bambino, really adept at pizza making and getting on the Chef's nerves. He was born in Reggio Calabria and gained his pizzeria experience there
Pizza Maker
Tony was born in Reggio Calabria, a crazy fan for Reggina but his passion is for the pizza. He is a true master in arancini e calzoni
Pizza Maker
Nadeem was born in Pakistan but grew up in Rome where he worked as a pizza maker and also cultivated the strong local accent. He is fondly called Nando by everyone.
Restaurant Manager
Francesco was born in Sardinia and arrived in Cardiff in 2010 where he immediately worked with Salvo. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional.
Restaurant Supervisor
Maria is from Rumania but lived in Calabria for many years and also possesses the strong local accent. She is very funny and makes everybody crazy because she is unbelievably happy all the time.

Federica is known as a very nice person and very professional, she knows how to entertain customers and she is a sunny person with a million dollar smile...
